College Financing Plan (CFP)

On April 27, 2012, the President signed Executive Order 13607, establishing Principles of Excellence for Educational Institutions Serving Service Members, Veterans, Spouses, and Other Family Members.

Loyola Marymount University is a voluntary participant in the Principles of Excellence program.  Participating institutions agree to provide serving service members, veterans, spouses, and other family members a College Financing Plan (CFP). CFP is a consumer tool and standardized form designed to simplify the information that prospective students receive about costs and financial aid.  It allows you to easily compare institutions and make informed decisions about where to attend school.

If you answered the veterans status question on your LMU Admissions application/Common Application/Coalition application that you are a current dependent of a veteran, or a current serving or previously serving veteran, and you have completed your FAFSA and have received your financial aid award, you will also receive a CFP on your PROWL account
