Virtual Counseling Sessions

You can schedule a 20-minute virtual counseling session with an LMU Financial Aid counselor by clicking the link below to register for an appointment.  Appointments will take place via Zoom.  A confirmation email with a link to the virtual session will be sent to the student within 24 hours of your requested appointment time.  If you prefer to speak to a Spanish-speaking counselor, you can indicate that request in the "Topic of Discussion" section of the reservation page.

Our office can be reached by filling out the form below or sending an email to If you are submitting any of our forms or sending any documents with personally identifiable information (PII), you must submit the document by using our Secure Upload page or via the fax number listed below.

Here are some helpful items to be aware of to help us expedite your request:

  • Include the student's LMU-issued ID number, if the student has been assigned an ID number
  • Students should email our office from their university email address
  • Please allow a minimum of one business day for an initial response to your email


You can call us at 310-338-2753, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. (Pacific time).  If your call is regarding a student with a LMU ID number, please have the ID number ready before calling.  



You can fax documents to our office at 310-338-2793.  Please allow a minimum of two business days for confirmation in PROWL that we have received your form or document submission.  Make sure to include the student's LMU ID number on any submitted documents.

LMU Financial Aid is located in the Charles Von Der Ahe Building, Suite 270 on the 2nd (top) floor across from the Office of Student Financial Services. Our office is open Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.  When visiting our office, be prepared to show your OneCard or a form of photo ID at the front desk.
