Loyola Marymount University offers several academic scholarship programs to recognize and reward the scholastic accomplishments of our most distinguished entering transfer students. No special application is required for these scholarships. All applicants for admission are automatically considered. Selection is based on academic accomplishment, including GPA. Additional factors may also be considered for particular scholarships, as indicated below.
Scholarship Eligibility & Requirements
All enrolling transfer students are eligible for the scholarships described below. Equal opportunity shall be provided for all incoming students for scholarship consideration on the basis of their demonstrated academic ability and merit without discrimination on the basis of their race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, citizenship, age, disability, and status with the armed forces unless otherwise stated in the scholarship guidelines.
Full-time enrollment (12-18 units) is required each semester to receive these awards. All awards may be adjusted if you receive additional federal, state, or institutional aid after your scholarship is awarded. All LMU merit based scholarships are applied to billable costs only; funding is not provided to cover non LMU expenses. Awards are available for a maximum of six semesters of enrollment, and are not available for summer enrollment or enrollment in non-LMU study abroad programs.
Annual renewal of these awards is automatic up to 3 years or 6 semesters, as long as you meet the eligibility requirements outlined in the LMU Merit Scholarship Benefits and Responsibilities.
