Student Accounts Department

Your Student Account and How It Works
All students are given an account with the Student Accounts Department in the Office of Student Financial Services.

Your student account is charged for tuition, fees, housing, meal plan, and other university related expenses.

All outstanding financial aid requirements must be completed for your financial aid to pay to your student account. (Please log into PROWL to review your financial aid requirements.) If all disbursement requirements are complete, your financial aid will begin to pay out to your student account 10 days prior to the start of each semester.

Any excess credits to your account will be issued to you as a "refund." To learn more about the refund process, click here.

Q. How can I check my balance and make payments?

Beginning with the 2010/2011 academic year, the process of paying for tuition, fees, room, board and the setting up payment plans will be completed electronically via the Student Account Center.

Q. How will I receive my student account bill?

All student bills are sent via email to the student’s LMU Lion email account. If you would like to have these eBills sent to a parent, guardian or other third party, please be sure to set them up as an authorized user in the Student Account Center.
