Spring 2012 Undergraduate Transfer

If you are interested in receiving financial aid, please follow these steps:

Step 1: Complete the 2011-2012 Free Application for Federal Student Aid(FAFSA) online.

LMU requires all students interested in receiving federal, state or institutional aid to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA determines your eligibility for low-interest federal loans as well as federal and state grants.

Students who complete the FAFSA and other application requirements by the priority processing deadline, October 31, 2011, will receive their financial aid award by December 1, 2011.

  • LMU’s Federal School Code is 001234.

Step 2: Check your "MyTask List" in MyAid Regularly. After submitting your admission's application, you will be given access to MyAid, your LMU Financial Aid Planner. You will receive an introduction email to MyAid 3 business days after your Admission's Application is received.

  • Access MyAid through MyLMU under ‘System Logins’.
  • Additional information may be required from you or your parents to complete your financial aid application, so please keep checking "MyTask List" for new tasks.
  • For faster processing of your financial aid, submit all requested documents and forms within 10 days to the Financial Aid Office.

Please Note: The LMU Financial Aid Office will use the email address provided on your admission’s application to communicate with you. Please be sure to provide an active email account and check it regularly for important announcements.

Many of your questions may also be answered by viewing the short videos available on Financial Aid TV.

If you have any questions, please contact your financial aid counselor by email at finaid@lmu.edu.
