Timeline to Submit Verification Documents
Entering Freshmen and Transfer students are notified of their financial aid award pending completion of verification.
We will post all of the requirements you must complete for federal verification on your MYLMU account after you have submitted your admissions commitment deposit of your intent to enroll at LMU. We recommend that you submit these requirements as soon as they are posted to your MYLMU account but no later than June 1, 2016.
Submitting requirements within this timeline will:
- Allow time for The Financial Aid Office to review your documents and determine if your financial aid award must be revised.
- Allow federal verification to be completed, and your award finalized in time for you to make payment arrangements with Student Accounts by their July 20, 2016 deadline.
- Ensure that your financial aid can be disbursed to your Student Account prior to the start of the semester. Aid cannot be disbursed if verification has not been completed
