Stafford Loan Lender List
Loyola Marymount University participates in the Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP), which allows student and parent borrowers to select a private lender to service their federal student loans.
The alphabetical list of lenders provided below represents all lenders at LMU that students and their families have elected to borrow from over the past three years. The use of a lender on this list is not required. LMU will process loans from any eligible lender a student selects. LMU may not deny or otherwise impede the borrower's choice of a lender or cause unnecessary delay in the loan certification for those borrowers who choose a lender that is not included on the lender list below.
Before selecting a lender, we recommend that you use the Loan Discount Analyzer to determine your monthly payment, interest accruals, and loan savings discount. We encourage you to review each lenders’ loan terms and conditions carefully to make an informed decision.
Once you have made your selection, please complete your lender’s online loan application (also called a Master Promissory or MPN). Please allow 7 – 10 business days for processing. Our office will be contacted to certify your loan once the application has been fully processed and approved with the lender.
